Cute accessory storage

The other day I went into Daiso and picked up these cute little containers to put my rings and earrings into. For those who don't know what Daiso is, you are missing out man!! It's a $2.80 shop but everything in there is from Japan and is ultra cute!! I been looking for a container to put my earrings into for a while but never seem to find the right one. For $2.80, I got 3 of these strawberry containers.  How cute are they huh?

I am now on a missing to find a rack looking thing to store my necklaces. I'm wasting too much time in the mornings trying to find stuff.

Give me some ideas!!...how do you store your earrings or accessories?

Lip Balm - EOS smooth sphere

I suddenly thought of writing up this post because my EOS lip balm smooth sphere is close to finishing! I have used the same lip balm for 2 years now.. not the same one but the same brand and type of lip balm lol I picked 2 up when I went to the US a while ago and I never restocked when I went back again last year, I so regret not getting more! This balm is super moisturising, stays on your lips, and most of all I love the packaging, how cute is it?? Only down side is you can't put it in the back of your jeans lol

So what I read is that 'eos lip balm is 95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, eos keeps your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth.'

I got Honeysuckle Honeydew and Summer fruits, both are just as good! The pic is summer fruits and Hello Kitty (phone strap decoration) is my model.

What's your favorite lip balm and why?

Weekend: Werribee Zoo & Mansion!

This weekend, B and I went to Werribee mansion and the zoo! Driving there was easier than I thought. When I was looking at google map, it was confusing for some reason there were two mansions! We visited the Rose garden first, it's an entire garden filled with roses. There were so many different colored roses there you wouldn't believe!

My camera is crap so the garden doesn't look as nice as actually being there.
Next was the mansion, it's a huge building. I was expecting something really fancy but the outsides were actually quite run down. Also, I don't really understand why the two buildings are different colors.

Me being silly lol I don't even know what that pose is for.

Good thing about the zoo and mansion is that they are five minutes apart by car.

We went on the safari bus tour around the open range zoo. The Zebra was hoping to get closer to get some of the giraffes left over food but every time he got close the giraffe would get narky and push him back lol.

 Pretending to be archaeologist

Finished the day off with my favorite cake - Carrot cake!!! I was thinking about it all day since I saw it at lunch time. It was a tiny bit crumbly other than that it was yummy!

For some strange reason, my photos are darker than usual today. I'm lazy to learn how to photoshop stuff lol

What did you get up to on the weekend?

Happy Valentine's day!!

B and I celebrated Valentine's day on Sunday, we wanted to avoid the crowd at restaurants and the pricey set menus.
B got me roses and a charm from Pandora. Every charm he has bought me represent some significant time in our lives together. This charm represents our first Valentine's day together (as some of you may know we had a long distance relationship for a while).

Dinner was at KoKo in Crown Casino! This outfit pic was taken in the lift while going up to KoKo. Top is from Kookai and Skirt is from Pilgrim.

Teppanyaki for dinnerrr!!!

Check out how much these sake's are worth!! $1,300 and $1,950 omg high rollers!!

We ordered fillet of steak, prawns and scallops. Everything was cooked beautifully even the mushrooms!! I'm not sure if it is just me but anything that gets cooked on the iron griddle taste good.

After dinner, I stopped by a Japanese takeaway place in the food court and picked up my favourite black sesame ice cream. These guys never let me down!

Then it was time to watch The Vow, my god it was a sad movie. I thought it was a comedy/romance but it turned out sad/romance. Channing Tatum is soooo good looking! When he was naked in the movie (don't get too excited could only see his butt), all the girls were like cheering lol

It was a perfect Valentine's day for me, couldn't have wished for more!

How did you spend your Valentines day?

GlossyBox - Valentines Edition!

A few weeks ago, I took advantage of the Groupon Glossybox deal. I was soo excited when I received an email yesterday saying my box was shipped, it arrived this afternoon! I must say this Valentines edition is very girly looking!

My February Valentines box contained:

1. Bobbi Brown - Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening Mascara : This mascara helps make your lashes ultra-long and separated. The bristles inter-lock with lashes like a zipper, so individual lashes are coated. Good sample size!

2. Jane Iredale - Tantasia Self Tanner : Fool them all with a golden bronze, natural-looking tanned face and body from this moisturising self-tanner. The size of this sample was quite small and I don't do self tanning, probably give it to my sister.

3. Proactive - Deep Cleansing Wash : Use this product to clear up skin when it's acting up or for a deep cleanse. Size of this was good!

4. Star and Rose - Floral Wonderland Emergency Nail Files : Pocket this cushioned nail file for all those nail emergencies and on-the-go fix ups.

5. Polished London - Nail Enamel : Dries fast and long lasting. Will definitely give this a go, love purple!!

I don't know if I will continue to subscribe to Glossybox, feeling kinda neutral towards my box. I read other bloggers and their stuff were so much better! Jealousss...

    Evening gown!?!

Happy Tuesday!!! If anyone has ever been to a chinese/asian wedding, you'll know that the bride usually changes 50million times with different outfits. I'm chinese so my family expects it.. Initially, I was going to wear my wedding dress.. since it's quite expensive and it's only worn once why not just wear it for the whole day!?! This idea did not sit well with my mum! So we negotiated down to changing once!

Has anyone seen a chinese dress/Cheongsam/Qipao before? Here's a pic!
It took us a good month to find a dress maker who could make this in Melbourne. During our first consultation with the dress maker, I told her what style I wanted. She recommended a bunch of places for the fabric. We went most of the places she recommended but couldn't find the traditional chinese silk fabric and if the fabric store did stock it in, it wasn't the colour I wanted. My mum then went to Springvale and to our surprise there was more variety there! I went the following week and found a colour I liked and here it is!!
The fabric is pinkish/purple with some cherry blossom looking patterns on it, fits right into my theme. My dress will hopefully look like the dress above.

Only thing left to organise is the flowers!

    Personal space - escalator etiquette

I don't know if it is just me but I noticed some people like to stand right behind people on escalators. I like to leave a step in between the person in front of me like any other normal person. Just last week, when I was on the escalators at the train station, I looked to my left and there was a freakken hand right next to me (the place where my left hand would have been if I held the railings)!! The lady behind me was standing really close to me, almost bum rubbing close...annoys me when people invade my personal space. This has happened a few times already...

Source: adultawkwardness - I made a lot of changes to the pics

LOL as you can tell I'm no artist. I tried to find a pic on google to try and describe the situation, probably made it worse lol I didn't tell her to back off, what would you have said?

On a different matter - Either tomorrow or Monday I will be blogging about my evening dress for my wedding!! Going to the dress maker today to get measurements done, will take some pics to show you ladies.
